Luna French Butter Crock

Handcrafted from warm brown stoneware, the Luna Butter Crock is a beautiful way to keep softened butter ready for the table.

Natural dark brown speckles show through the semi matte glaze, while subtle bronze highlights give each piece depth and individual character. Designed to hold approximately one stick of butter, the traditional crock uses water to help keep butter fresh while maintaining a soft, spreadable consistency.

Each piece is made and glazed by hand, so variations in color, finish, and form are a natural part of its character.

To Use:

Pack softened butter into the upper portion of the crock. Add a small amount of cool water to the base before placing the butter filled portion inside. A small pinch of salt may be added to the water if desired. Refresh the water regularly.
